We made it home yesterday. The trip was very uneventful. The roads were in really good shape, even in Cleveland where there was about 8" to 10" of snow on the ground.
But.......the best news of all came today. Bettyjo was able to swallow a few sips of water! Yeah!!!
Bettyjo also got a call from Dr. Willet's office, to say the Dr. Alam had contacted them and they have discussed follow up care. Bettyjo will see Dr. Willet next week.

So happy to hear that news. i'm glad you were able to come home yesterday and not today. I would have come out to visit, but decided I best stay away since I had flu yesterday. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! ~Marsha
