Bettyjo Update

Thanks to all of you reading the blog. And, to those of you leaving comments. I read them to Bettyjo and they are encouraging.

At the moment Bettyjo is in a lot of pain, from this last surgery, from the infection, from the previous surgeries, from the rod and screws in her neck and from the rheumatoid arthritis. She had an MRI last night but no one has been in to brief us on the results. I say no one, because both Dr. Willet and Dr. Baird (infectious disease) will use it to see multiple things. She is still getting IV antibiotics, and well...........we are just waiting. Not much fun, and getting very old.

Your right its not fun, but with some endurance, and some patience it will be a different story. I myself is scheduled for round 2 of brain surgery at CCF starting 6am on the 1st. I know through experience that CCF is the best... Even if there are complications along the process...

Stop going for the world record on enduring the most pain and get better, Bettyjo!

Seriously though, I so wish I could just ask God to transfer some of that agony to those who love you so we could give you physicalrelief. We REALLY feel for you both and pray for healing daily.

I know it is quite discouraging especially when you are waiting for somebody to give the feedback and nobody shows up or available to explain what is going on. Don't give up because even in the eleventh hours God will still show up! Thinking and Praying with you.

It's SNOWING in Chicago. I can appreciate it more if I imagine every snowflake is a prayer that someone is sending on your behalf.
Hang in there! Love, Your Sis
